LOCATION :
Sibiciu de Sus / Buzau county ROMANIA / Latitude 45.333 N / Longitude 26.350 E / Elevation 264 m
Rural site / a medium village but located at minimum 50 km to nearest big town
INSTRUMENT:
10" F/5 dobsonian reflector
Eyepieces 25mm Sirius Plosll / 10mm Sirius Plosll / 3x achromat Barlow lens (giving power of 50x , 125x , 375x with my telescope)
CONDITIONS
Seeing 2-3/10 (Pickering scale)
Transparency 4/10
Darkness: 4.5 limiting magnitude for naked eye
about 7 degrees C , little wind with random intensification, high humidity
OBSERVATIONS
STF 1401
50x the companion can be seen but not from first sight.Magnitude diffrence (about 2-3 mag) The pair can be splited with direct vision but quite at limit for this magnification
125x the pair is splited clearly from start, looking quite wide . No color
375x Same . Rough estimation done : SEP~1/15 from field(about 25 arcseconds) PA~20
STF 1412
50x very wide pair Stars seems identical No color
125x one is just a little more bright The mag diffrence seems very small ( about a few 0.1 mags probabily) It can be seen a second companion , pretty weak as magnitude and quite close from the A component. The companion is evident with averted vision but little difficult with direct vision (probably because the magnitude diffrence)
375x The second companion is now clearly seen and clearly splited There are about 3-4 magnitude diffrence to the second companion The SEP between AC is about 1/5 from AB SEP The SEP of AB is about 1/4 of the field . Rough estimations SEP AB ~ 95 arcsec PA AB ~ 40 degrees / SEP AC ~ 19 arcsec PA AC~280 degrees
STF 1450
no split at 50x,125x,375x Quite bright but looks single. Probably bad conditions magnitude difference and small SEP is cause. Need to be reobserved
NOTE: The above estimations are quite rough , and made with only eye aproximations.

Also used a Celestron Microguide Eyepiece, but I didn't make effective measurements but I only use the scale to evaluate better the PA and SEP. The Microguide scale factor is still not preceissely calibrated
CONDITIONS
Seeing : First evaluated at around 4/10 on pickering scale, but later has dramaticaly gone wrong to around 3 or even 2
Transparency : 4/10
Darkness : limiting magnitude 3.4 :( (beacuse of the moon mainly)
Moon : 98% low altidude . Was covered at the beginning by some buildings but during the observing session goes upper that buildings
Condition: around 17 degrees C at the begining but going considerably low at the end (about 10) / no wind at start but low-medium speed and intermitent wind at the end of session
STF 1431
50x no companion at all at this magnification
125x companion can be seen but very close, still if paying enough attention it can be clearly splited but there is a considerable magnitude diffrence between components. I estimate it around 2-3 magnitudes The main star seem to have a slightly blue color
375x The split is more easy and clear but the magnitude diffrence and small distance between components stil put some little problems at first sight. Eye estimation done PA - around 70-80 SEP arround 3-4
STF 1466
50x no companion can be seen at all
125x The companion can be clearly seen and separated ; magnitude diffrence around 1-1,5 magnitudes ; companion is quite blue and main star has seems slightly of yellow color
375 x very clearly separated. PA estimation done using the Microguide scale to evaluate better (no meassurement - still testing Microguide) Separation estimated a little under 9 PA is very close to 240 degrees.
STF 1457
50x a fainter companion can be hardly seen but not completely splited. Very close pair at this magnification
125x companion still very close and difficult it can not be separated completly the stars seem to touch in one point . In addition seeing condition has gone quite bad Because the image is little boiling and compantion can not be continously clearly seen . Magnitude diffrence quite small estimated around 0,5-1 magnitudes
375x no improvement . probably because of weak conditions

Seeing : Very bad . 1/10 on pickering scale
Transparency : 5/10
Darkness : limiting magnitude 3.7 :(
Moon : not present
STF 2061
50x Looks like a common simple star.
125x Also looks like a simple star.. but sometimes a considerably fainter component appears for very short periods. The separation is small but when appears the components look separated or bairly touching with the primary star. It is very hard to evaluate the PA or separation in these conditions. The component seem to be in NNE
375x nothing in plus
STF 2049
50x,125x,375x no split

Moon : joasa in spatele unei case
Vant intermintent, 10 grade Celsius
Beta Cygnus
50x - Dubla extrem de spectaculoasa formata din doua componente stralucitoare puternic colorate in albastru si galben. Separare mare si la aceasta putere. Principala galben intens. Secundsra albastru usor albicios.
Epsilon Lyrae
50X Duble cu separare mare. Stele aparent egale in magnitudine.
PA ~ 250-260
Beta Lyrae
50x - Separare mare. Diferenta mare de magnitudine (probabil in jur de 3). Formatiune triunghi de stele slabe in jur.
